How To Build Your Successful Team

I had the pleasure of speaking to 19 graduate students at North Carolina A&T on the topic of ‘teamwork.’ I emphasized the importance of working towards your purpose and having a sense of direction in life first. This foundation allows you to select individuals who align with your morals, interests, and aspirations to be a part of your team.

I then discussed how one can begin to brainstorm answers to the question, ‘What is my purpose?’ by following my 4C’s: courage, confidence, competence, and community. I enjoyed every moment of this experience and am excited to impart more words of wisdom and encouragement to the world.
