How ‘She Built This City’ Is Dismantling Barriers for Women in Construction
She Built This City’s mission is to provide industry disruptive programming that sparks interest and builds pathways to lucrative careers in skilled trades for youth, women and marginalized communities. The organizations vision is to dismantle barriers and stigmas in traditionally male dominated spaces through innovative, sustainable practices that prepares women for a future of jobs that has yet to be created.
At She Built This City numbers matter because they represent people, jobs and lives impacted. This nonprofit is results oriented knowing that each success means a brighter future for individuals and families. Hopefully after watching this episode you will understand for yourself that She Built This City’s goal is to get women to work as quickly as possible and the organization is addressing this problem through several programs!
