Danii's sustainability journey was inspired by moving consistently between the United States and her home country, Trinidad and Tobago, and experiencing firsthand the challenges that both advanced and developing communities face in integrating sustainability. It was then that Danii decided to pursue a career where she could tap into her problem-solving and entrepreneurial capabilities to combat these challenges.

Danii's experience with sustainability stems from her work with her own non-profit, Carnicyle, as well as corporate sustainability and sustainability consulting. Through Carnicyle and personal investments, she has been able to educate communities and consult businesses in Jamaica, Barbados, and Trinidad and Tobago on waste reduction strategies and circular economy principles.

Danii's personal interests in sustainability lie at the intersection of impact investing, the circular economy, and technology.
